Formerly a Miller Lite Beer model, the London, England-born (on December 24, 1967) became widely popular after dating and eventually married Jordan Belfort. Many are probably familiar with the name from the film The Wolf of Wall Street, a biopic of Belfort whose conviction for stock manipulation shocked the world.

In 1991, Nadine and Belfort married and remained together for 14 years until their divorce in 2005. While together, the former couple welcomed two children: a son named Carter and a daughter named Chandler.

As those who have watched Jordan Belfort’s biopic film The Wolf of Wall Street (2013), they do have a visual idea about the cause of their divorce. As the movie on Belfort suggests, Nadine Caridi reportedly separated from her then-husband after domestic violence, drug addiction, and infidelity.

During an interview with Ohio news station WFMJ, the ex-wife of Jordan Belfort stated that she didn’t receive any financial support from him after the divorce. And when asked about the alimony in a 2015 interview with Notable Life, the former convicted felon hinted that he had signed a prenup.

The former model met Belfort at one of his parties in the late 80s- Belfort was then famous for his parties with girls, alcohol, and drugs. The two were introduced by Caridi’s then-boyfriend Alan Wilzig, an American entrepreneur and a semi-professional race driver.

Although the two felt an instant connection, both of them had their respective partners then. The former stockbroker was in a marital relationship with his high school sweetheart Denise Lombardo.

Shortly after Belfort divorced Denise, he exchanged vows with Caridi. Even more, he named a yacht “Nadine” after his blue-eyed blonde wife, but it sank in 1996. Then, in 2003, he got a 4-year sentence for a conviction for running Boiler Room, stock manipulation, and penny-stock scam. He got out after 22 months.

The 53-year-old former model is currently a licensed marriage and family therapist and relationship expert. She is an active Instagram (drnadinemacaluso) user and uses the alias Dr. Nae. It was after her divorce from Jordan Belfort; she would pursue a career as a therapist.

At 39, she joined Pacifica Graduate Institute and graduated with a double degree: a Master’s in Counseling and a Ph.D. in Somatic and Depth psychology.

Moreover, Caridi has a happy family of her own; she is married to her second husband, John Macaluso, the former CEO of the Wizard World. Together they don’t share any biological children but are parents to 5 from respective past relationships; two from hers and three from Macaluso’s.
