SNL, or Saturday Night Live, is a television show that started in 1975 and continues as of 2022. For Kate McKinnon, she is a popular American actress, and she joined SNL back in 2012. She rose to fame due to her act with popular celebs like Justin Beiber and Hillary Clinton. Like Kate, Aidy Byrant also joined SNL back in 2012 and will leave in 2022.

As we said earlier, the popular television show SNL hires these popular celebs for a certain amount of time. Hence, after their contract expires with the tv show, they can either choose to renew it if the company likes or make their departure.
For the artists listed above, it seems that they gave their everything when they were working on that particular television show. Hence, they gained global fame through their works due to that reason. However, as they say, the good things don’t always last forever.
