Joe Chrest was born in St. Albans, West Virginia, the United States. Though, regarding his birthday or details on his parents, Chrest never opened a bit. Supposedly, he is currently in his late 50s.
After attending St. Albans High School, Joe joined the United States Air Force and got recognition for Cold War service and for expert marksmanship. But also, while serving in Air Force, he never gave up his passion for acting and got basing training while at the base.
Later, Chrest joined Marshall University (in West Virginia) and earned a BFA Degree in Directing. Then, he enrolled at and graduated with an MFA Degree from Louisiana State University.
