Just met someone.
this is dumb
the same problem as the BFF feature had on the old app, you can't be friends with anyone who doesn't share your gender identity. I understand why it's not the default, but being nonbinary, it limits the potential matches to seven individual people and a couple using the nonbinary tag. Adding an opt-in feature to see and match with other genders would make the app more usable to those who don't fit neatly into the boxes without removing the safety of the current segregation.
Never met anyone in my city. Everyone lived in another state. If you don't mind that it's ok.
tried it for a few days and it never worked again after that. No way to contact support to fix it either. Deleted it!
said it was for any age but turns out you have to be 18 to play
i downloaded the app to make friends in the area i just moved to, and it's invite only? how am i supposed to be invited by a friend while looking for a friend? did anyone think this through?
Great to be able to connect and meet others in the area. The app is well designed.
The app sends me a code to verify but says it does not match each time. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it does not work.
I hardly get any matches. I thought I was doing something wrong, but it sounds like the app got worse after an update, and some users used to meet more people before that update. and you can't get rid of people you aren't interested in. I guess I'll keep the app, just in case someone comes along, but it hasn't really impressed me yet.
