It’s ridiculous that app orders aren’t started until customers physically check in at the counter. The whole point of mobile ordering is to save time and skip the line. I wasted 20 minutes waiting because nothing indicated I had to tell staff I’d arrived. If customers must check in, that should be clearly communicated in the app. As it stands, using the app offers no benefit and was a frustrating waste of time. Very disappointing experience.
