💬 Speech balloons zooming
Read digital comic books on mobile devices can be difficult especially if they have small screen. Seeneva to the rescue! Built-in Machine Learning model trained to detect speech balloons on pages allows you easily zooming and navigate through them with a touch of a finger.

👀 OCR and TTS
Have you ever wanted to copy text from speech balloons? Seeneva make it possible to use Optical Character Recognition on all founded speech balloons to extract text from them. And the built-in Android Text-To-Speech allows you to use Seeneva like audio comic book reader.

Note:
• No comic book included.
• OCR and TTS features are only available for English language right now.

Please read app repository https://github.com/Seeneva/seeneva-reader-android for more information about the app and known issues.

It has a clean look and is easy to use. My problem is that when importing comics my files would always show up missing a significant amount of pages. This was true for at least ten different files using both import methods. This essentially makes the app useless to me, like only being able to watch movies where five to fiteen minutes is cut at random.

Great concept with OCR + TTS. One suggestion: instead of zooming speech bubbles, please add fast full-page OCR in correct reading order (top to bottom). A single “Read visible page” button with simple block highlight while reading would be perfect. Speed + correct order + highlight is more useful than zoom windows for manhwa/manga.

Time has taken a toll on this nice app. Expect crashes.

it reads back to you! it needs some work but still neat, also wish I could organize by the metadata or edit it, but still super lovely! needs more attention!

love it but would be nice not to have to import my comic folder to a different folder for the app to read them

I like the app conceptually, I can also tell it's had some effort put into it. On top of this, no one that I can find has attempted this same kind of app style, so you really have that in your favor. Anyway, text to speech recognition is a bit weird, it'll pronounce words very strangely. Even the most basic and common words can often have a weird weird pronunciation. Text to speech also will also speak in broken sentences sometimes as the AI has trouble recognizing some words. Don't give up!

In my opinion, this is the best comic reader anywhere by a country mile. You point it to your comic, and this app does the rest. It opens the read bubbles and never misses getting the next one in order, ready to read with every touch. It's even better than the Google reader, but you can tell no more development is going into it now, as some of the security on the newer Android os are getting annoying. If anyone knows anyone who developed it has updated this to another version, I want it. Thanks
