JOIN EVENTS AT YOUR STORE
Quickly and easily join limited and constructed events at participating local stores. With Magic Companion you can easily find your next match and be notified when a new round begins.
How to participate in an event with Magic Companion:
1. Attend an event at participating local stores. Find one at locator.wizards.com
2. Open Magic Companion and select JOIN EVENT
3. Enter the Event Code provided by your local store.
4. Find your first matchup and get playing!
TRACK YOUR PLAY
Tracking event play is now easier for stores and easier for you. Check event standings, get notifications on new rounds, report your match results automatically, and use a built-in life counter to chart you play.

the card search system still needs an update. I can hardly ever find the cards im looking for, its like it's trying to fight me every step of the way.
NEW BUG: Creating a game with life tracker sets life as 0 for all players. This happens sometimes when you set life to 40 or 50.

The app works great for both participating at an FNM draft event at a local game store as well as for hosting a draft at home. A Wizards account is not required for hosting a draft at home but I recommend to register for the free account to unlock more features in the app like life tracking and detailed and detailed statistics.

won't let me make a account because "invalid email" quality app apparently, dont waste your time
Works well enough, but 2-stars for notification ads on your phone that you can't turn off in the app. Extremely annoying. Specifically notifications for inbox messages which are usually just marketing stuff.
16 Apr 2026: The app is much improved since approx. December 2025, very nice to see the new standard layout, useful features, and much better responsiveness of the app. Some issues with unexpected logouts remain, e.g. within a few days of logging in. The new Saved Stores and Saved Events features are nice to see, but currently there is no ability to filter the upcoming events list by Saved Stores, which would be very useful.
