Very difficult to get working - I had to actually disable the google vpn (android phone), not just shut it off. Documentation provides no real trouble shooting help for dashcam (A329), none for the app. You will need to do your own trouble shooting even if you call/contact support.

Its a pain to connect to cam from phone. Works, sometimes.
why does the new app need my location, if the old one didn’t and worked fine. call me paranoid, im not paying you to collect my information.
Having issues downloading and locating your files? I have a Samsung Note 22 and I was having that issue. I would see the message download complete and the file wouldn't be in my photo gallery. After checking all of my settings for the phone and my Viofo A329 I stumbled on the fix. As soon as you download a file and you see the download complete then you will see a button/option thay says "file synchronization ", hit that button/option and that file will be sent to your photo gallery to be viewed
Terrible app. Wifi of my $400 dashcam does not turn up on my wifi settings via my phone. Have tried every troubleshooting issue online to no avail. Both Viofo apps are terrible and do not work.
I am unable to download saved videos to my phone via wifi. I downloaded the new app and connected fine. I was able to see live view and all recordings. Settings were capable of being changed on the new app also. However, no recordings will transfer. All settings were double-checked on the phone. I ended up going back to the original app.
The google map tracking is showing me in the northern hemisphere but I am in southern hemisphere (gps co-ord in video definitely is showing S), but apart from this the app is way better than the old one, much more reliable. A329.
You get one star for not being able to setup app on a tablet. Endless loop of permission requests that have already been granted. Going back to the original app.
