I really don't like the new design. I can't close it without force killing it. When I get notifications and click on them, it typically takes me to a different story, and why, oh why is there not a way to search for stories on the app... Not sure I've ever seen an app with no way to search before.
I dislike the new weather layout. It was better when it automatically opened to the weather forecast for the week with colored backgrounds. The new setup has too many options no one cares about, and it's boring to look at with just circles and squiggly lines above the temps.
The new updated interface eliminates sitting through the previous long pointless splash screen (still has a splash screen, just not as long). New glitch they need to fix: you can't close the app; the back button does nothing. I choose to go into phone settings and force kill the app. I don't want an app deciding for me what stays open and what does not. The old version said it collected data even if closed (at least you could close it) - don't know if the new version does the same.
Tge new update ruined the weather interface
