please please bring back car play over Android auto on AA Wireless one!! I know you don't support it any longer but you should consider bringing it back lots of people need this to get rid of that ugly logo that takes up 2/3 of the screen please bring it back and put it back on Amazon currently AA Wireless one is unavailable many of us want to buy that!!! please! and we will all come back and rate you five stars!
It works perfectly 80% of the time. That last 20%, however, is an absolute nightmare. The app and hardware can be rather aggressive trying to stay connected, even when I don't want it to. I notice it happens usually when I'm in the car a short time, to move it or to open/close my windows for example. it will just refuse to disconnect no matter what I do. I usually have to uninstall the app AND completely disconnect the USB in order to simply regain control of my phone.
Instantly fixed all connection issues with my Galaxy phone and Hyundai.
Newest device is much more responsive. However, sometimes I don't want to use it and it fights me to turn on Bluetooth when I just want to be a passenger in my car. Stop turning on my Bluetooth
It worked well, but the latest update - specifically the auto-standby feature - broke that auto-standby functionality on the Moto Edge+ 2023 running Android 16. Please give us a fix, guys! 🙏 UPD: It’s been over a month and there’s still no fix, nor has there been any response to the bug report - the phone is simply unusable if you forget to unplug the dongle from the USB port while near the car. That’s why I’m downgrading my rating to one star.
it doesn't go into standby for a 2019 Ram 1500 Pixel 9 pro android 17. it continues to connect when I am not in the car I uninstalled the app and it was still trying to connect to my phone
I would give it 5 stars if it didn't try to constantly reconnect. I have to keep disabling and enabling the auto off feature almost every day
doesn't even work inky see phone demo icon. Doesn't do anything.
I have been using these devices for years. Two cars two phones two AAwireless two devices. The last three days have been HELL. The devices have forgotten how to put themselves into standby and CONSTANTLY try to reconnect and start android auto when the cars are off sitting in the driveway. This EATS battery. Its bad enough that both my wife and I uninstalled the app. Now both devices are unplugged. Something has gone very wrong with this devices ecosystem.
I'm a refugee from the Motorola MA-1 and the AAWireless is *so* much faster to connect, so much more stable, the motion on the map actually feels smoother and the always-on USB port that made my Motorola device unusable from day one is fixed by AAWireless. Best Android accessory hardware purchase I've made! Edit: Dropping my rating by three stars until the problem of auto standby stopping working until it is disabled/reenabled is fixed as this happens after every single drive now.
