ID.me Authenticator as a TOTP Code Generator: Signing into your account requires your username, password and a verification code that you can generate using this app. Once configured, you can get verification codes without the need for a network or cellular connection when this app is used as a TOTP code generator. You can enroll and connect ID.me Authenticator to your account for 2FA by scanning the QR code at setup time.
ID.me Authenticator for PUSH based authentication: You enter your username and password when signing into your account, then approve the push notification sent to your phone. You will need to enroll and connect ID.me Authenticator to your ID.me account to enable this feature.

it doesn't show the proper app
app doesn't appear anywhere. from Google Play it shows installed and I can open it. from ANYWHERE else on my phone this app does not appear. I cannot locate it to use it. worthless like this

Thankfully works on GrapheneOS. But this app's dark mode is broken on all my devices (app turns half dark/half light and hurts my eyes)
I would love to know who decided it was a good idea to force me to use a separate app for 2FA when I have a perfectly good 2FA app for all my other 2FA codes. You know what? I refuse. I'm going to use the less secure phone authentication rather than use this stupid app.
constant loops, crashes, and issues. I shouldn't have to go to multiple sites to verify my account.
this app sucks it takes you around in circles it's dumbest out forever to see
Terrible. After signing up with my email and creating a new password, I still can't sign on to give the IRS my bank routing and checking account number. Also the virtual help doesn't understand anything when I tell it what kind of help I need.
app keeps crashing. information needs to reload over and over.
