From a visual standpoint, it's better than Google's fugly messaging app. It would benefit from a deeper customization system, though. OR if the developers could somehow find a way to make their app compatible with Theme Park, they'd bring in a slew of Galaxy users who'd grown accustomed to the elegant synergy of having a unified theme across the majority of their phone's various GUIs.

Great replacement for Samsung Messages. You do not need to register an email to use it, it automatically syncs your old messages from Samsung Message app without linking a Google account. Also it does not send Read Receipts and it does not show typing indicators like "..." when you are typing. There are no ads and it is a very simple app to use.

Samsung messenger ended and I did not like Google messenger. Looked long to find Textra.

Could you please clarify why the default setting for this messaging application is to automatically download all received media files? This practice presents a potential security vulnerability, and I believe it would be beneficial to implement an option to disable automatic media downloads. This would mitigate the risk of inadvertently downloading malicious software, such as spyware or malware, simply by receiving a message.

Click draft txt>esc key & msg stays. Doesn't move 2 top of list. Need it to. Other apps Do! Draft texts are Not searchable Bad idea! Drafts are reminders! Is major for me, Non-functional! Make Esc key move drafts out of way. Drafts Hide text field! Unneeded steps to Copy msg! Pls make Basic feature of Long press show Copy option. Uve seen Many won't think to look in 3 dots for Copy. Who's idea was it to Hide Copy?! We like U show care w/replies! Nice U haven't ruined app w/updates. Many do.
