simplesafe sucks and your employee don,t know their job, no help
inexcusably hard to cancel. Requires you to pay to self monitor and no self hosting options. Don't get this security system unless you enjoy paying to be surveiled by a third party company.
Does exactly what it should.
I have had Simpli since I first heard their advertisement on AM radio, at least 15 years ago. Wonderful company to do business with.
UPDATE 7/2026 - New app update changed the color of the ON icon for the outdoor protection. It's too light, and blends in with the white background. bring back the original orange color plz!! It's Simple and I feel Safe! I work in the security industry, my job offers a security system, but it's a wired system. As I move for new projects, Simply Safe is extremely convenient with their wireless system! Their easy stick sensors, easily stick to doors & walls and effortlessly come off when moving.
Do not get simplisafe! the cameras are horrible for any price. connection problems, slow, poor quality, when you change settings they don't always save. your settings will reset or just flat out not be ignored. get a $500 system that gives you 8k quality. these cameras are 720i and grainy because of their poor connection. I have it up and down with my internet, amd these cameras can't handle 3' from the base and router. oh, you'll also get unwanted notifications. searches also NEVER work right.
Simply Safe is only as reliable as your internet. If that fluctuates your cameras will be unavailable in emergencies like last night 4:30 AM where I heard what sounded like someone pounding on my bedroom door. I grabbed my weapon, bolted out of bed & quickly locked my door, but the video was yet again malfunctioning. The person had likely pounded on the shed by my window & hadn't gotten in the house. Police called because Simply Stupid camera wasn't working.

this app is very unorganized. you want to be able to relatively easily see if your sensors are open or closed yet it takes 4 steps to get to it. it also takes a long time for the cameras to load for live stream. I am pretty disappointed in how thrown together this system is. I had cox homelife for 14 years and this is kind of a joke.
