Notification chime constantly quits working and I miss orders. I have to restart my phone constantly.Which makes me miss more orders. I don't see how the notification can chime and then stop chiming on the next order.
still stealing tips unless you constantly file for a tip audit.
it is beyond stupid that I have to wait for 24 hours in order for my card to be "processed" so I can instantly withdraw my funds into my bank account ! when I contacted support, the only explanation I was given was that it was for security measures and identity verification purposes . which is stupid because is there exists many instant identity verification methods
they don't give you full tip sometimes, and you get pentalized when you pickup a run when it's already late and have 0 minutes to shop then expect you to take a run 30 miles away for $6 that's not even gas smh UPDATE* I Got my tip money now I give one more star because they solved it pretty fast
my experience is very good
Overall a good app, but the customer service will treat you like you're an idiot. They routinely allow customers to order out of stock/nearly out of stock items, and not every customer is responsive. Better than doordash, but don't overextend yourself or they'll fire you without any real appeal process.
I worked as a Shipt Walker for six years as of today. If you are in New York City and you're a Walker, then you probably should look for a new company to deliver from. I could not bypass their vehicle prompt, and I called customer service only to be told to rent a car for the vehicle information. I do not drive at all! Why would I do that? No one in their right minds should recommend that to a non-driver.
I absolutely love this app! It pays waayyyyy better than Uber!
I got blocked due to too many late deliveries, which I received from a single batch because of unclear instructions.
Out of 304 orders, 119 tipped. (39%) The rest, I either barely broke even, or, in many cases, it cost me to shop for people due to the size of the order, time spent, and gas spent. I've dedicated myself to this full time and I'm about to be homeless because of it. You're betting on the kindness of strangers to pay you. I have perfect stats and I actually enjoy it. Doesn't matter. Good luck. UPDATE: 636 orders & I've lost everything. I'm also positive Shipt is stealing our tips.
