Very simple. I open it to get updates on the info it provides. So no pinging all the time in the background. Very simple and straight forward with a nice simple graphical display of heat index and wet bulb temps for my location and forecasts for those by the hour. Like the simplicity and the ability to expand the graphs both vertically and horizontally.

suddenly stopped working last week. has not recovered despite deleting and reloading app. used to be my favorite app. now can't change location.

It's been a great app, but lately they removed the detailed hours. The points on the graph used to be labeled with the hour, but now only the highest point of the day gets labeled. Good luck figuring out the other hours. I need to knos this hour by hour as I'm figuring out safety not only for myself but also for animals who have different heat endurance than humans. I'll edit the rating back up to 5 stars if this is brought back.

As of late it is giving me data that is 3-4 hours past. The index it is giving right now is from 3 am. It's noon. Why is that? I have changed for updates. There are none. I rebooted my device and waited 5 minutes. Still showing past data. This app USE to be accurate. Not any more. Please fix this as I live in Florida and this app is usually helpful.
