When people ask how dashing is my answer usually is, "its good about 80% of the time, but that 20% is really bad". The app is rigid, but at the same time very inconsistent crashes, poor customer support that is 95% automated unhelpful answers. Buttons bizarrely move around. There are also many inconsiderate people that use the DD app. I've had to deliver to towns actively flooding and trudge across mud fields. A lady in my town in clearing the whole town of store brand ora-gel. sketchy af.
Like it,but too expensive. Notify me too often
if you live in the Fredericksburg VA or Stafford Va area just sign up for Uber eats or instacart... I promise you will make more money... they barely give us promotions and when they do their Platinum driver get 2 deliveries in two hrs one for $6 and one for $10 and the promotion is $2 added on every delivery... door dash does not care even after they have been spoken to on the matter multiple times... the customers are cheap and barely tip so my advice let this app fall apart....
great. never had a problem.
New to Door Dash, completed 3 orders total. 1st went great, 2nd order the app glitched and froze until I arrived to pick up the order then I could continue and complete that order. 3rd order glitched as soon as it showed me the pickup location, then it was just a white screen with a red check mark in the middle. thankfully, I could message the customer, and explain app issues, and that I could still deliver, but that I would be a little late. called help desk to complete, that went smoothly.
Contantly having tech issues, and the more they update it to 'fix things' the worse the tech issues become ive had to call support so many times for them to manually fix things, takes ages, and then customers are mad at ME when its out of my control, and i have to dispute late deliveries to keep my rating, deliveries that are late because the app wont work.
Have to force close all the time
full of glitches and very inconvenient! have to continuously uninstall and reinstall to end dashes. BAD...BAD....BAD
not helpful, when someone had fraud charges on doordash to their account I was offered compensation for wasting my time. I provided my personal details and once they got to my bank information my bank app or log in wasn't working. it's usually often very buggy. so I told them that I couldn't see my balance but could provide my bank account routing and account number. my mom made the bank account and it's branches so she gets any text from the bank so I couldn't provide that. so they suspendedme
