great information provided and an app I had planned on keeping forever but the new commercials I get as a paid member were a bad idea daily wire. rates were already a bit pricey but I refuse to pay for commercials. canceling my subscription and I will just Google daily wire articles. best of luck DW team

I'm very happy with the new additions of episode downloads and the Android Auto compatibility! Kudos for those features. I have noticed an issue where playing the downloaded episode from the play tab often just steams the episode from data, but if you go to your profile tab and play from the downloads section it plays the downloaded version. Some buffering on my commute with dead zones revealed that quirk, but my workaround has become habit now. Fix that, then XBOX APP next please!

can't seem to log out of the old unpaid account on a different email. just keeps redirecting to the website where I can log in with my most up to date account. Not user friendly.

They added ads to their UI. Paying and getting ads is basically back to network TV days. They sent an email explaining what they do is expensive therefore ads. That's why people pay for the subscription. You don't pay and still get punished with ads. It just damages the user experience from the people you already sold on it. Enshiftification is real. Make a great app to get market share, treat usera well for a good reputation then try to squeeze them. That's what this move is.

EDIT - I have changed my 1 star review to a 4 star review, after DW customer service reached out to me & did help me to solve the issue. The app operates well now overall. The only reason for 4/5 is because the current ads are a bit ridiculous, given what I pay for full access. Overall, a good app. That said, Matt Walsh is the only reason I sub. W/O him, I would have no reason to watch really anything on the DW. Walsh is the best in the business, in my opinion.

Now with more Ads for paying Members! A $150 subscription should buy me no ads ever. edit: Ads are now a feature of the subscription per their editor in chief because they need to make more money.
