Every time I want to show my results to someone, it requires computation which takes a full day. YOU HAVE TO WAIT FOR A DAY EVERY TIME YOU WANT TO VIEW THE RESULTS. the results themselves are not detailed and are inconsistent with other DNA test companies. use another company and don't waste your money on this incompetent one

Got to be honest, this was the first company I used for DNA test. its a pretty good app from that point of view and the DNA kit was most affordable. However, from a family tree perspective. This app and the Website tbh are as laggy as ****. Way worse than Ancestry. Everything you click on is pay walled and the site and app limit your tree to 350 whilst its unlimited on Ancestry. If you only want to take one test and create one family tree, ignore the cheaper price and go with Ancestry.

Some of the results were very surprising. Some results I expected to see were not there at first glance. Only when I looked at the Ancient Origins data, did some of the results I had originally expected to see come up. Disappointingly, for some reason they seem to believe that Nigeria covers the whole of West Africa including Ghana and Burkina Faso. I'm sure Ghanaians will not be impressed

YEARS AFTER CANCELING MY HERITAGE ROBBED $299 IN RENEWAL FEES FROM MY BANK ACCOUNT. I canceled the subscription in 2023 and out of the blue, in June 2026 PNC flagged a debit being processed from My Heritage. It wasn't authorized and I've had NOTHING to do with this company since canceling and telling them to delete the entire account on 2023. Why did I tell them to delete the entire account? Because canceling my subscription was a NIGHTMARE and I never wanted to be forced to deal w MH again.
